200 Stab Wounds Starts the Lowest Form Campaign With Finite Vinyl Runs

200 Stab Wounds Push Forward With Lowest Form and “Pangs of Conscience”
200 Stab Wounds aren't easing into their next record. The Cleveland death-metal band has announced Lowest Form, an eight-track full-length arriving February 19, 2027 through Metal Blade Records, and its first strike is already here.
“Pangs of Conscience” carries the blunt physical weight that has become central to 200 Stab Wounds, but there's something else underneath it. Instead of building a song entirely around violence and impact, the band turns inward toward mistakes, accountability and what happens when someone's actions begin colliding with the person they believe themselves to be.
That doesn't make 200 Stab Wounds suddenly contemplative background music. The riffs still hit hard. The difference is that the aggression has somewhere specific to go.
A New Record After Manual Manic Procedures
Lowest Form follows 2024's Manual Manic Procedures and reunites the band's increasingly recognizable attack with producer Arthur Rizk, whose credits include Power Trip and Cavalera.
Rizk produced, mixed and mastered the album, while James Bousema — whose work includes Municipal Waste and Frozen Soul — created the artwork.
The lineup remains Steve Buhl, Raymond Macdonald, Todd Thompson and Owen Pooley.
The band says it put more work into Lowest Form than any previous recording. “Pangs of Conscience” provides the first evidence of what that means: familiar brutality, but with more attention to pacing, dynamics and tension rather than relying solely on sustained force.
Lowest Form Track List
1. “Pangs of Conscience”
2. “Wicked Butchery”
3. “Sweet Suicide”
4. “Methodically Slaughtered”
5. “Symbolic in Glory”
6. “Psychopomp”
7. “Taste of Betrayal… The Ultimate Consequence”
8. “Punishment Eternal”
Metal Blade is preparing digital and CD editions alongside multiple limited vinyl configurations for the U.S. and European markets.
200 Stab Wounds Take It to Indianapolis
The album doesn't exist separately from the road for long.
200 Stab Wounds' September U.S. run with Tribal Gaze and Maul reaches the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis on September 21, giving Indiana audiences an early opportunity to catch the band as the Lowest Form campaign begins.
The run continues through Huntsville, Panama City, Atlanta, Daytona, Tampa, Greenville, Asheville and Columbus before the end of September.
Manchester Gets the Band Before Release Day
Then the scale gets considerably larger.
Early 2027 sends 200 Stab Wounds overseas supporting Whitechapel alongside Sylosis and Tribal Gaze on an extensive European tour.
The itinerary crosses Glasgow, London, Manchester, Bristol, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Cologne, Hamburg, Prague, Vienna, Berlin, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki and additional European cities.
One date falls particularly close to release day: Manchester Academy 2 on January 30.
That's less than three weeks before Lowest Form arrives, putting Manchester audiences directly into the final stretch of the album campaign.
Built to Move
That's an important part of the 200 Stab Wounds story.
The band's rise out of Cleveland hasn't happened through records alone. Touring has steadily carried 200 Stab Wounds beyond the Ohio underground and into increasingly larger rooms and international bills.
Lowest Form now enters that machinery.
Indianapolis gets the band during the opening phase of the campaign. Manchester catches them immediately before the record arrives. Then February 19 puts the complete album into the world.
For now, “Pangs of Conscience” is the first piece — and it suggests 200 Stab Wounds aren't interested in simply making Manual Manic Procedures again.
