Dee Snider (born 1955) is an American musician and media personality, best known as the lead singer and songwriter of Twisted Sister. He is credited on Walter Trout's "I've Had Enough," on a U-Rock® Radio Spotify playlist. Who he is

Wikipedia says Snider was born in Astoria, Queens, and grew up in Baldwin and Freeport on Long Island. He joined Twisted Sister in early 1976 and became its sole songwriter. He later led Desperado, Widowmaker and SMFs, and released solo albums. Wikipedia notes he kept a straight-edge lifestyle.

What he did

Twisted Sister's debut, Under the Blade, came out in September 1982, followed by You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll (1983), the band's first major-label album, which Snider wrote at Jimmy Page's Sol Studios in England. Their 1984 song "We're Not Gonna Take It" reached number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was ranked number 47 on a list of the 100 Greatest '80s Songs. Hit Parader ranked Snider number 83 in its Top 100 Metal Vocalists. Lzzy Hale of Halestorm is among the artists who have collaborated with him.
