Swapping instruments
According to Wikipedia, the band became known for their boy-girl harmonies and for all four members switching instruments during shows. Their 1996 debut, Seasick, produced by Steve McDonald of Redd Kross, was ranked by Spin as the fourth-best album of the year. Its single "You're One" got heavy play on alternative radio. They had started out as Star 69, but changed the name after a New York band threatened to sue.
On
"Million $ Man" is the fourth track on On, the band's third album, released by Merge Records on 9 April 2002. In 2009, Amazon.com named On the 43rd greatest indie rock album of all time. The photo here comes from Wikimedia Commons.
