Nada UV revisits Ken Stringfellow’s first solo album with Lacey Lune

‘Any Sign at All’ brings another voice and another producer to a song from Stringfellow’s early solo catalog
Band Writer · 2026-11-06

Nada UV’s “Any Sign at All,” featuring Lacey Lune, isn’t another entry in Ken Stringfellow’s production diary. It’s somebody else interpreting a song from his first solo album—and Stringfellow makes that distinction himself.

The original song comes from This Sounds Like Goodbye, released on Hidden Agenda in 1997. Stringfellow’s official Posies biography identifies it as his first solo album. He was already known as a Posies co-founder; this was a separate statement outside that songwriting partnership.

A different voice takes the lead

Lacey Lune sings Nada UV’s version. Stringfellow praises her distinctive vocal character and emphasizes that he did not produce the recording. The interpretation therefore stands apart from the other studio projects in his latest release roundup.

The song appears on Metronome, Nada UV’s 14-track album released July 2, 2026. Apple Music lists “Any Sign at All (feat. Lacey Lune)” as track six, with a running time of 3:21 and a ℗ 2026 Emerson Dameron credit.

A project built for interpretation

Nada UV is Emerson Dameron’s Los Angeles music project. Its official catalog mixes original material with covers and reworkings. Metronome appears within the Operator Archive series as “Forever ’91,” placing this song’s return inside the project’s wider musical exploration.

Stringfellow describes the project’s output as prodigious and points listeners toward its recordings. You don’t need to trace the entire archive to understand this song’s appeal: one songwriter’s early solo work has met another artist’s arrangement and Lune’s voice nearly three decades after the original album.

For readers who haven’t heard This Sounds Like Goodbye, this is a way into that record as well as Nada UV’s own catalog.
