Warbly Jets are a music duo formed in Los Angeles in 2015 by Samuel Shea (vocals and instruments) and Julien O'Neill (synthesisers and instruments), with a rotating cast of touring and studio members. Their song "Alive" is on U-Rock®'s WURN-dB Underground playlist.

Self-made

According to Wikipedia, Shea and O'Neill met in Brooklyn and moved to Los Angeles in early 2015 to write and record demos. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2017. It was self-produced, self-recorded and self-released. "Alive" came out as a single in 2016. "Alive" was the intro theme of the 2018 PS4 game Marvel's Spider-Man. Wikipedia says songs from the album, including "Fast Change" and "The Lowdown," have been used in Need for Speed Payback and Lucifer.

On the road

In late 2017 the duo made their US TV debut on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly. As an independent band they have toured internationally and supported Liam Gallagher, The Dandy Warhols, Stone Temple Pilots and Rival Sons. The photo here shows them at Way Back When Festival in 2017. The Propaganda EP followed in 2019, and the second album, Monsterhouse, came out on Rebel Union Recordings on 12 November 2021.
